Help me designate someone who can handle my financial and medical decisions when I am no longer able to do so.
Prior to the time a person is no longer able to make valid decisions, a power of attorney can be executed which conveys the right to someone else so make financial and medical decision on another's behalf. It is always better to designate your choice for these positions in advance of any crisis.
If no one is designated previously, the only option is to petition the probate court in the event of a crisis. This can be much more costly and time consuming.
We can help by drafting the appropriate powers of attorney appointing the persons you trust. You will be able to rest assured that in the event you do need help you will have someone there.
