Terrence A. Bertram

I have been providing estate and elder law planning for clients since 1985. During my 25 years of practice, I have been able to reach hundreds of people who are concerned about protecting their families from the devastating legal and financial effects of disability and death. The aspect of my practice I enjoy most is that it allows me to serve as the trusted advisor and counselor for many families in the greater Ann Arbor area.

I grew up the middle child of seven brothers in Traverse City. I came to Ann Arbor to attend the University of Michigan and never left. I now live in Dexter. Like many of my fellow Ann Arborites, I am an avid Michigan football fan. I am a widower with two daughters. My youngest, Chelsea, recently graduated from Michigan State University and her older sister, Murphy, attends Washtenaw Community College. For fun, I enjoy being involved in my community. I have been appointed to various boards and commissions by Governors, City Council, Boards of Trustees and Boards of Education. Currently, I serve as the attorney for the Pittsfield Seniors, which is the largest senior program in Washtenaw County. I also serve on the Board of Directors of Gilbert's Residence, a non-profit assisted living and nursing care facility.
